AmCham meets Deputy Oil Minister to discuss its support for planned Tripoli oil investment conference

London, 25 August 2021:

Ahmed Al-Ghazali, Deputy head of the American Chamber of Commerce Libya (AmCham Libya) met yesterday with Rifat Al-Abbar, Libya’s Deputy Oil Minister at the Ministry’s Tripoli office.

The meeting centred around AmCham’s plan to hold an international oil investment conference in Tripoli in the coming weeks and how the two sides could work together to increase investment in Libya’s oil sector and how the Ministry could support the success of the conference.

AmCham reported that the Deputy Minister assured of his full support to ensure the success of the proposed oil investment conference.
