London, 1 June 2021:
Tunisair Express, a subsidiary of Tunis Air using smaller aircraft and covering shorter trips, announced Friday that it will resume flights to Libya from 6 June.
The flights will be three times a week (Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays) from the southern city of Sfax to Tripoli’s Mitiga airport.
The company said the reprogramming of this line comes in response to the intense demand from Sfax and the Southern Tunisia regions, especially from businessmen.
As for the Libyan clients, it said these trips will facilitate transportation for investment, medical treatment, as well as tourist and commercial visits. The company said the trips will use the new ATR 72-600 aircraft
This line is an addition to Tunis Air Express services to its international network that includes several neighbouring cities such as Malta, Palermo and Naples. It said it will soon be announcing other destinations.
