About 2,000 9mm handguns were seized at Misrata port hidden in a 20 foot container full of women’s clothes (Photo: Misrata Customs Authority).

London, 20 May 2021:

About 2,000 9mm handguns were seized at Misrata port on Tuesday the Customs Authority, Misrata branch reported on the same day.

The guns were hidden at the back of a 20-foot container purportedly containing women’s clothes, the Customs Authority revealed. The case has been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office.
