London, 16 January 2021:

The National Oil Corporation (NOC) reported Wednesday (13 January) that it has begun the activation of its agreement with Schlumberger in the field of specialized technical training.

The NOC said this represents a fundamental pillar for the development of engineers in engineering, geology and geophysics disciplines to develop them in their field of work, and to create specialized technical frameworks in the fields of exploration, production, oil engineering and reservoir engineering.

It stressed the importance of developing national elements, and the need to keep pace with developments in the global oil industry.
