London, 6 January 2021:
Libya is interested in employing skilled Bangladeshi workers and is ready to receive a Bangladeshi Labour Ministry delegation in February to discuss the conditions of Bangladeshi employees in the Libyan labour market through the High Committee for the Regulation of Foreign Workers.
The revelations came yesterday during a meeting between the Tripoli Libyan Minister of Labour and Rehabilitation, Mehdi Al-Amin and Bangladesh’s Ambassador to Libya Sheikh Iskandar Ali on the occasion of the end of the latter’s term of work in Libya.
The Minister praised the efforts of the Ambassador to strengthen cooperation relations between the two countries while the ambassador expressed his deep thanks to the Minister for his cooperation and support for the organization of foreign labour in the Libyan labour market, and thanked the Tripoli government for its cooperation in strengthening relations between the two countries.
