London, 23 November 2020:
The Foreign Ministry of Libya’s internationally recognized government based in Tripoli confirmed last Thursday that the U.S. House of Representatives adopted the Libya Stability Support Act.
This law, which will come into effect after its approval by the Senate and the approval of the U.S. President, is concerned with setting the political framework for the U.S. State Department towards Libya and calls for curbing international and regional interference and calls for support for the democratic path, the Libyan Foreign Ministry explained.
