The Misrata-based Libyan Iron and Steel Company (LISCO) signed a contract today to complete the development of a cold rolling project with Winners Engineering Solutions, an international company it reports that is specialized in the construction and development of flat rolling plants.
This project is part of LISCO’s overall development plan approved in 2007.
This old project had been stalled because the former contracting company would not implement the project due to security fears associated with working in Libya, LISCO revealed.
However, Winners has pledged to complete all contract terms within the one-year contracted period, LISCO reported.
