Libya based company Atlantis Seaways Tripoli (Atlantis Maritime Transportation Co.) has inaugurated a new RO-RO shipping service, connecting ports in Italy and other ports in the Mediterranean Sea to the Libyan ports of Khoms and Misrata, the company told Libya Herald.
It added that this was a sign of recovery after many years of conflict.
Italian company Agencies S.R.L. Venice has been appointed as agents for all Italian ports.
Any kind of rolling equipment (new or used trucks, vans, cars) as well as general-cargo, project and palletized shipments will be accepted on regular basis on this new shipping connection to Libya, the company said.
