London, 23 May 2018:
Algeria held a tripartite consultative ministerial meeting on Libya’s developments in its capital Algiers on Monday, the Tripoli-based official state news agency LANA reported.
The meeting was attended by foreign ministers from Libya’s three neighbouring north African states: Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt.
The meeting reviewed developments in Libya and discussed possible steps to be taken by Libya’s neighbours in support of UN efforts in Libya headed by Ghassan Salama and reviewed mechanisms to implement Salame’s Libya Plan of Action, which included the holding of presidential and parliamentary elections before the end of 2018.
