One of three criminals died today in a kidnapping that went seriously wrong in Obari.
After they had seized their victim, Masoud Beddawi Al-Hatih, the criminals’ speeding getaway car left the road and smashed into a wall. Unfortunately their victim was injured, along with two girls nearby when a wall collapsed.
A gang of three armed men had just seized Hatit. Some reports say a shot was fired at the fleeing kidnappers. In any event their vehicle skidded into a wall, which it brought down on top of it.
The other two kidnappers were also hurt and are understood to be in custody. The condition of Hatih and the two girls is not known.
