Zintan today saw its biggest military graduation ceremony ever. As many as 1,200 recruits to the Libyan National Army (LNA) were commissioned on completion of their training.
Many were from Zintan and areas in the west of Libya that back the LNA. However, there were significant numbers of others from elsewhere in the country.
As well as parades, those who attended the ceremony saw shows of martial arts and other displays of military prowess.
The newly graduated soldiers area expected to be attached to LNA units in the west of the country.
