The HoR plans to meet to vote on the GNA tomorrow if it obtains a quorum.
The HoR failed to meet again yesterday to vote on the GNA & LPA  due to the lack of a quorum.

London, 14 June 2016:

The House of Representatives (HoR) failed to meet again in Tobruk yesterday due to the failure to achieve a quorum.

Photographs posted on the HoR’s media Facebook page show a handful of members in the empty chamber.

The planned session for yesterday was called for by HoR president Ageela Salah ostensibly to vote on the Government of National Accord (GNA) led by its Prime Minister-elect Faiez Serraj, and to vote on a constitutional amendment to legalize the UN-brokered 2015 Libyan Political Agreement (LPA).

Serraj and the GNA are not yet recognized by the HoR, however, the international community recognize Serraj and his GNA as the sole legitimate government of Libya, but also recognize that the HoR is the only legitimate legislature in Libya.

Critics have accused Salah of calling for yesterday’s HoR meeting in the full knowledge that it would fail to materialize, as a fig leaf to protect himself from accusations of being a ‘’spoiler’’ of the LPA.

Sources, have told Libya Herald that more members are expected to turn up in Tobruk today for a second attempt at a meeting.
