London, 11 April 2016:
Water has started to return to areas of Tripoli today which had experienced sudden water cuts . . .[restrict]yesterday.
Tripoli Central Municipality confirmed in a statement that the water cut was due to power failure at some of the Man-mad River water pumps in the Hasauna fields in southern Libya.
It reported that operators at Hassauna said that water supply to Tripoli should be back to normal within two days (by Tuesday 12th April). Today, it reported that 400,000 cubic meters of water were pumped which should be up to full pressure tomorrow. [/restrict]
