A widely-followed blogger and social activist has disappeared from his Marj home along with two friends.
Ali . . .[restrict]Asbali with friends Ahmed Hawaz and Myar Al-Aurufi were reportedly last seen yesterday evening.
Asbali, who once used his blog to support Armed Forces Commander-in-chief Khalifa Hafter has since become increasingly critical of the general. He has instead shifted his support to Ibrahim Jadhran, leader of the Ajdabiya-based Petroleum Facilities Guard.
It remains unclear if Asbali and his two friends have been kidnapped, as some followers fear. There are reports that he may have travelled to Ajdabiya.
An army source contacted by the Libya Herald said that he had no knowledge of any incident involving Asbali in Marj. [/restrict]
