Tripoli, 1 December 2015:
Another person has been gunned down in Ajdabiya, bringing to four the number of reported murders . . .[restrict]in the last seven days.
A source in the town has told the Libya Herald that when attackers first fired on customs police officer Shik Yusuf Al-Zwai they missed and he fled. However they gave chase and cornered him, shooting him dead at point blank range
The source bemoaned the continuing lack of security in the town with, he said, no active police, judiciary, prosecutors nor military personnel.
Only last Friday, Ibrahim Saeed Jadhran, the influential father of local Petroleum Facilities Guards commander Ibrahim Jadhran, town mayor Salem Jadhran and Ajdabiya Revolutionaries’ Shoura Council leader Usama Jadhran called a meeting of elders to see what could be done to stop the rising tide of terrorist violence.
