A number of flights in and out of Labraq and Tobruk airports have been cancelled . . .[restrict]and others are expected to be disrupted tomorrow, Sunday, as baggage handlers and other ground staff go on strike over salary arrears.
At Tobruk airport today, members of the General Union of Air Transport Workers already demonstrated at the airport over on non-payment of salaries.
At the end of May, General Union of Air Transport Workers (GUAT) across Libya went on strike over unpaid salaries. They decided to return to work when promised their grievances would be deal with. In the event, that did not happen. [/restrict]
