Benghazi, 11 July 2017:
Following the announcement that Libyan Airlines will shift it flights from Labraq back to Benghazi’s Benina airport as of Saturday 15 July, Afriqiyah Airways is following suit. Its first flight on Saturday from Benina will be to Kufra followed by flights later in the day to Tripoli and Alexandria.
Those already with tickets from Labraq are requested to contact the nearest Afriqiyah sales office.
Meanwhile, ahead of the final Benina reopening, Benghazi municipal council have started removing rubbish, including abandoned cars and wrecked road barriers, and are tidying the Airport Road from the roundabout on the Third Ring Road all the way to the airport itself.
