Benghazi, 15 September 2015:
The government has announced . . .[restrict]that Hassan Ali Elsaghir is to temporarily take over as foreign minister.
The announcement follows yesterday’s order to the government from the House of Representatives’ Administrative Control Committee to suspend Mohamed Dairi from the post pending an investigation of “administrative irregularities”.
Elsaghir is currently deputy foreign minister. [/restrict]
