Benghazi, 12 June 2015:
Over 200 families sheltering in Zliten from violence elsewhere in Libya are being given food parcels . . .[restrict]ahead of Ramadan.
The packages have been put together by the Zliten branch of the Libyan Red Crescent. They include special Ramadan treats as well as baby foods.
The assembly and distribution of the parcels was watched by the Red Crescent’s general secretary Omar Abdul Salam Ajaudh. He told the volunteers that easing the burden for the refugee families in this way was very much in line with the humanitarian values on which the Red Crescent was founded.
