A team from Tobruk Criminal Investigation Directorate, alerted by a member of the public, had arrived at the spot at Saqifat Kharga, near the eastern exit of the city.
There they found the baby in the hole and rushed her to the Tobruk Medical Centre, where her condition is said to be “improving gradually”. [/restrict]
