He was seized yesterday evening by unidentified gunmen.
Condemning the abduction, the GNC has demanded he be released immediately. It said that those who had taken him would be held responsible for his safety.
The public prosecutor has been ordered to open an investigation into the case ensure the kidnappers were caught, while the Tripoli “government” has been told to do everything to find and free him.
The capital has seen a wave of kidnappings recently. [/restrict]
