Gharyan, 28 April 2015:
Mobile phone and internet services returned to Gharyan this evening after days of disruption.
The . . .[restrict]problem has been cable breakages in the Aziziya area as a result of the fighting there. The clashes also prevented engineers from then carrying out any repair words.
Last week, communications cuts force banks, the passport office and other vital institutions to close because they were unable to conduct business.
According to Nuri Al-Makki, the Jebel Nafousa regional manager of the General Posts and Telecommunications Company, engineers and maintenance technicians have managed to effect repairs to the cable which has meant that both Libyana and Almadar mobile phone networks are again fully functioning as well as ADSL and WiMAX internet services.
