Tobruk, 7 April 2015:
The family home in Ajaylat of the town’s member of the House of Representatives, Adel . . .[restrict]Mahfouz Ojaili, has been badly damaged a fire. The cause of the blaze, which happened yesterday, Monday, is unknown. However, according to the member’s brother, Mahfouz, there was no evidence of an electrical fault. He also added that no one could think of any individual who might want to set the house of fire.
Ajilat, some 80 kilometres west of Tripoli, has been caught up in the increasingly fierce clashes in the area between Libya Dawn forces and those of the Libya National Army. The residents generally support the LNA, but the town is just a stone’s throw districts that support Libya Dawn, and security cannot be assured.
Five months ago, the home in nearby Zawia of the Deputy HoR President Imhemed Shouaib was burned down in what was a clear case of arson. [/restrict]
