Beida, 13 April 2015:
Bad weather delayed operations at the Hariga . . .[restrict]oil export terminal yesterday. However port officials say that the terminal is now once again operating normally. A Spanish-registered tanker entered and loaded some 70,000 barrels of crude of oil this morning.
It had been reported that the port had closed completely, albeit briefly, due to bad weather, but an Arabian Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) official denied this, telling the Libya Herald that the port never actually closed.
Hariga is operated by the NOC-owned AGOCO and can export some 290,000 barrels per day.
