As part of its efforts to improve the health sector and the healthcare provided in . . .[restrict]Libya, the Thinni government approved at last week’s cabinet meeting held in Al-Beida the formation of a committee to study the possibility of establishing a number of model hospitals.
The cabinet statement said that the study will look into establishing hospitals with capacities of 60, 90, 120 and 420 beds. The committee will also look into the possibility of establishing some field hospitals.
With regards to short term needs, the committee will also study the possibility of making available a list of essential equipment. [/restrict]
