The economic attaché at the Sudanese embassy in Tripoli has been freed after being abducted yesterday, Tuesday, . . .[restrict]by armed group.
According to Sudanese officials, the attaché was seized outside the embassy building. He was later freed by the police in Tripoli although details have not been revealed. The identity and the motives of the abductors have similarly not been disclosed.
According to the embassy the diplomat is in good condition despite his ordeal and is now back at work. [/restrict]
