The Corinthia hotel in Tripoli is still open and will continue to operate, Corinthia Group . . .[restrict]Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Alfred Pisani said in an interview with the Malta Independent today.
The same applies to the group´s Palm City residential and office operation in the western Janzour district of Tripoli, Pisani added.
Pisani said that maintenance to the Corinthia hotel had been carried out but that the hotel was not operating because there was no business.
It will be recalled that the Corinthia hotel was the target of a terrorist attack in January in which nine people were killed.
Pisani added that he was convinced that once an agreement is reached between all political factions business will once again flock to the country. [/restrict]
