Benghazi, 30 March 2015:
Benghazi’s Jalaa Hospital has received one body and fourteen wounded from the Libyan army after . . .[restrict]three days of clashes in the city.
According to a source from within the hospital, staff administered first aid to four of those injured and sent them home immediately, while the remaining ten were treated for moderate wounds.
The dead soldier was identified as Farag Abdel Jawad Al-Obeidi, who died from wounds received in Sabri.
Meanwhile, the deputy director of the field hospital in western Benghazi, Dr Ali Souwih Al-Saiti, has denied the Sunday killing of two doctors at the volunteer field hospital,.. He dismissed the news circulating on social media as “altogether baseless” and “just rumours”.
“Doctors Ahmed Al-Ajhar and Milad Al-Tarhuni are alive and in good health,” Saiti confirmed.
At the Benghazi Medical Centre (BMC), staff received a shipment of much-needed medicines from the Red Crescent, enabling the hospital to continue to serve the public. [/restrict]
