Benghazi, 31 January 2015:
Benghazi’s downtown and port areas as well as some other parts of the . . .[restrict]city continued to be hit by random missiles today.
An army officer based next to the Islamic Call Society building in central Benghazi who did not want to be named told the Libya Herald that rockets had been landing nearby. He claimed that they had been fired from Garyounis and Ganfouda and accused Ansar Al-Sharia of being responsible.
Other missiles are reported to have fallen in Beloun district. The new power plant next to the Hawari Hospital and designed to power it, was also hit by a random shell. Local residents managed to put the fire out and damage is said to be minimal.
According to the officer next to the Islamic Call Society building, the nearby Suq Al-Hout area is now almost completely cleared of Ansar fighters. The LNA had entered the area, he claimed [/restrict]
