Tripoli, 25 November 2014:
A senior Tripoli police officer has been gunned down as he returned to his family after a visit . . .[restrict]to a bank.
Colonel Mukhtar Al-Naali died in a hail of bullets as gunmen opened up outside his house on Sunday. Naali, a technical director in Libyan intelligence, had back driven to his home in Abu Salim from a bank in Gargaresh. The unidentified gunmen escaped. It is unclear if the motive was robbery.
Naali is the second policemen to be assassinated in just over a week.
