Tripoli, 31 October 2014:
Two Libyan reporters, both of whom worked for the radio station Libya Al-Watan, died yesterday . . .[restrict]in Benghazi, one after being abducted and the other in fighting between the Libyan Army and Ansar Al-Sharia.
The body of Sediq Abas was found by locals in the Sabri area of the city and was taken to Benghazi Medical Centre.
A family member, who asked not to be named told the Libya Herald: “He was kidnapped yesterday by Ansar Al-Sharia , then killed by two bullets, one in his head and one in his chest”.
The other dead reporter was of Mohamed Al-Wedawi, who was reportedly was killed in the Salmani district during clashes between the Libyan National Army and Ansar and the Benghazi Revolutionaries’ Shoura Council.
