Tripoli, 26 October 2014:
A 14-member delegation from the House of Representatives is due in Paris tomorrow at the invitation . . .[restrict]of the French National Assembly.
The delegation, led by Tripoli member Ali Al-Tikbali, left Tobruk yesterday for Tunis en route to the French capital. While in Paris, the group will have meetings with French deputies aimed at developing links between the two parliaments and countries, attend a session of the Assembly and join in workshops on France’s experience of democratic development.
Meanwhile, another smaller HoR delegation was in Cairo yesterday. Consisting of the four HoR members who have been chosen as members of the Arab Parliament, temporarily based in the Egyptian capital, they met with the Speaker, Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Jarwan.
He stressed that the need for security and stability in Libya.
