Tripoli, 21 July 2014.
Three Chinese nationals—two men and one woman—were arrested in Tripoli over the weekend for illegally manufacturing . . .[restrict]alcohol inside the home they were renting.
Local residents reported suspicious behavior to the Tripoli Counter Crime Agency (CCA). When members of the agency arrived on scene to investigate, they asked to see passports and visas.
The fearful reaction of the suspects aroused further suspicion, leading CID members to search the premises where they found equipment for making alcohol. They also found a computer with photos of the suspects making it.
The suspects, who have not been named, were taken into custody according to the agency. An investigation is now underway.
