The interior ministry has announced details of its budget allocation from the government. According to Law No. 13 . . .[restrict]for 2014 regarding approval of the budget of Libya, the Ministry of Interior has been assigned LD 4,067.95 million.
The ministry allocated LD 2,109.7 million to the ministry office. Of this, almost LD 2 billion is for salaries, with LD 49 million for expenses and LD 1.35 million for the Information and Documentation Centre.
Regarding the other allotments, the ministry has allocated the following:

The ministry also unveiled its private incomes, amounting to approximately LD 100 million. Of that, LD 20 million is direct income at the ministry office, LD 20 million is the income of the security directorates, and a sum of around LD 60 million comes from immigration services. [/restrict]
