The Tripoli based Libyan Ministry of Interior announced today that the security campaign conducted by competent security agencies—under the auspices of the Joint Security Chamber—is ongoing.
The campaign aims to bolster security discipline and curb violations within the capital, Tripoli.
The Ministry said efforts are continuing through intensified monitoring and surveillance operations to identify and seize military vehicles circulating in the capital in violation of established regulations and guidelines, with appropriate legal measures being taken against them.
It said these measures are part of a security plan designed to regulate vehicle traffic within the city, limit the unauthorized presence of military vehicles, uphold state authority and the rule of law, and consolidate security and stability, thereby fostering a safe and orderly environment for the capital's citizens and residents.
The Ministry of Interior affirmed that the Joint Security Chamber and its affiliated bodies will continue to execute their assigned tasks and deal firmly with any conduct that undermines security discipline, while strictly adhering to legal procedures and the regulations governing these operations.
