Constitutional Assembly heads south on national tour

Tripoli, 8 June 8, 2014:

The head of the Constitutional Assembly, Ali Tarhouni, along with his deputy, Jelani Rohuma, and . . .[restrict]30 other members are heading to Murzuk and Obari today, after a visit in Sebha. From there, they will head to Ghat. The tour was born out of a desire to promote national unity and to stimulate dialogue among Libyans throughout the country.

“Today we will head from Sebha to Murzuk and Obari. As members of the Constitutional Assembly, we want to meet with Libyans of all regions in the country in order to connect with the Libyan people and hear their perspectives on national issues,” Constitutional Assembly member Khaled Wahli told the Libya Herald.

The Constitutional Assembly visited Tripoli and Benghazi before heading to Sebha in order to engage in dialogue with city elders, activisits and members of civil society.
