Local bystanders rushed the severely wounded officer, named as Essam Mohammed Farhat Bu Shaiha, to hospital, but he died at 1 am this morning.

Terrorist attacks in Derna show no signs of diminishing or reducing in brutality, as the decapitating of Turkawi shows.

“We are in extreme danger, and it seems that security is not going to be restored as easily as we would hope.  The government should intervene and stop the slaughter immediately.  We have had enough,” an officer who did not want to disclose his name for security reasons told the Libya Herald.
