Benghazi, 30 April 2014:
A former member of the Qaddafi-era People’s Security Organisation was shot and killed yesterday in Ain . . .[restrict]Maraa, 40 kilometres west of Derna.
A local resident told the Libya Herald that the man, Ahmed Boujela Mansouri, had been deliberately targeted by unknown gunmen while walking in the street.
Whether Mansouri’s links to the former regime were a motivating factor in his killing remains unclear. [/restrict]
