In a move aimed at promoting decentralisation, the Ministry of Oil and Gas has opened . . .[restrict]a new office in Misrata.
Acting Oil Minister Omar Shakmak said that the new office would provide services to industry officials and businesses at a local level. He added that this would help achieve economic and social development.
Shakmak opened the new office yesterday at a ceremony attended by Ministry and council officials and local dignitaries. Officials from the Misrata branch of the Ministry of Martyrs and the Missing and representatives from the local branch of the Libyan Society of Amputees were also present. [/restrict]
