Tripoli, 9 April 2014:
Alitalia has extended its flight cancellations until 15 . . .[restrict]April, citing ongoing unrest in the country.
Passengers booked onto cancelled flights are being offered several options, the airline said. They can rebook onto future flights or can re-route without paying any penalty on a number of other flights. Full refunds or vouchers for future travel are also being offered.
Passengers have until 15 May to pursue any of these options.
Alitalia cancelled flights on 25 March because of security issues at Tripoli International Airport several days after the runway was damaged by two missiles. Lufthansa and Austrian Airlines have suspended services indefinitely.
