Tripoli, 15 April 2014:
National Oil Corporation (NOC) subsidiary the Arab Gulf Oil Company (AGOCO) has made a new oil . . .[restrict]discovery in the Sirte Basin some 80 kilometres to the north east of Marada.
NOC spokesperson, Mohammed Al-Harrari told the Libya Herald that the successful discovery had been confirmed yesterday following tests. The new well which is 7,270 feet deep is expected to produce an estimated 1,900 barrels of oil per day. [/restrict]
