Benghazi, 28 March 2014:
Gunmen tried to kill a member of the Saiqa brigade this morning. Mustafa Assaid . . .[restrict]was shot in the hand and leg in a drive-by shooting in Benghazi’s Al-Sabri district. He is now recovering after surgery in hospital.
Later, after Friday prayers, gunmen tried to kill Khaled Al-Urfi, a member of military intelligence. He had gone to Hawari cemetery to visit the grave of a friend and had first prayed in the cemetery mosque. The gunmen started shooting as he was heading to the grave. He ran back to the mosque for safety.
Yesterday, another member of military intelligence visiting a grave in the same cemetery was repeatedly stabbed in an attack by a gang. [/restrict]
