State-owned airline Libyan Airlines is launching a new direct service from Tobruk to Istanbul, with the . . .[restrict]inaugural flight scheduled for Wednesday 12 March.
The weekly service will be the third international route Libyan Airlines operates from Tobruk Airport. In April last year it launched the first international service from Tobruk, which was to Alexandra in Egypt. In August, it launched a second service, to Tunis.
The new route will be serviced by an Airbus A320 with a capacity for 168 passengers. The plane offers both economy and business class seats, according to Libyan Airlines’ official website. [/restrict]
