A four-member delegation led by Director General of . . .[restrict]the Foreign Ministry’s Asia & Australia department, Mohamed Ali Zenati, has been in Delhi to discuss issues of bilateral and multilateral interest with Indian officials.
The two day-visit, which ended yesterday, focused on technical assistance and capacity building projects. The latter included training of Libyan diplomats at the Indian Foreign Service Institute and assistance for the Libyan diplomatic academy, first mooted a year and a half ago when Zenati’s predecessor visited Delhi.
The vocational training institute which India is setting up in Libya and the Pan-African e-Network project were also discussed .
The delegation also met with the Indian Deputy Foreign Minister Anil Wadhra and other assistant ministers.
