Tripoli, 26 January 2014:

Last night Tripoli Local Council held a symposium on the life and work of the late . . .[restrict]Nelson Mandela in the capital’s Waddan Hotel.

The evening, entitled, “Symposium on the Life of Freedom Fighter Nelson Mandela (Long Path through Peace)” was sponsored by the South African Embassy in Libya.

The talks focused on how Mandela was a man of peace and how his life and work was an inspirational example that others could follow.
