Tripoli, 16 January 2014;

An independent congressman from Misrata,  Sallahiddeen Omar Beshr Badi  has  asked to be allowed to . . .[restrict]resign from the GNC, in part because he deplores the members’ decision to extend the life of the GNC beyond February 2014.  In his hand-written resignation,  Badi also cited personal reasons for his decision. [/restrict]
