Ghat prepares for December’s Sahara Festival

Tripoli, 4 December 2013:

Preparations for the 19th Ghat International Sahara Festival, which runs from 28 to 30 December, are . . .[restrict]now underway.

The two-day festival will include camel races, folk music from southern Libya and visits to old villages in the Ghat area, deputy president of the festival committee Abu Bakr Kranfoda told the Libya Herald.

He added that the festival would also feature aspects of Libyan Tuareg culture.
