The 19th Ghat Festival of Culture and Tourism kicked off today at midday with an number . . .[restrict]of Congress members, government officials and foreign guests at the opening ceremony.
Abdilazeez Alhashi, a member of the organising committee, told the Libya Herald that they included the first and the second Deputy Presidents of the General National Congress, Mohamed Younis Yahya and Saleh Al-Makhzoum, as well as the Deputy Ministers of Culture and of Tourism plus some 40 government officials and representatives from foreign embassies.
The festival would last for three days, Alhashi said.
During his visit, it is reported that Makhzoum is to give a talk on plans for the election of the Constitutional Committee and its role. [/restrict]
