Tripoli, 3 November 2013:
Speaking at Wednesday’s press conference, Prime Minister Ali Zeidan announced that a number of health projects . . .[restrict]were approved by his government at their ordinary weekly cabinet meeting.
Hr revealed that authorization had been given to the Ministry of Health to start studies for Tobruk hospital which would be done through an American company called Texas, Zeidan said.
Prime Minister Zeidan revealed that the company had visited the area and had met with the heads of the technical teams.
With regards to the city of Sabha, Zeidan said that a number of clinics would be established where the General hospital , he said, was suffering from a great deal of disruption to the extent that it is unable to provide services.
It was therefore decided that a number of clinics would take up the various medical specialties until the new hospital being built is approved by the Audit Bureau.
Zeidan also revealed that Derna hospital was too awaiting approval by the Audit Bureau.
The Prime Minister also announced that births hospitals would be established in Tripoli, Benghazi, Misrata and Sabha. [/restrict]
