Tripoli, 29 October 2013:
The Libyan navy frigate Al-Hani was today towed into Malta’s Grand Harbour for repairs and maintenance.
The vessel was manoeuvred into the shipyard of Cassar Ship Repair, reported the Times of Malta. It is not clear what work will be undertaken on the frigate. Last refitted in Malta in 1991, the Al-Hani was in Benghazi at the start of the revolution. Officers and crew threw in their lot with the rebels, though the ship played no part in the fighting.
It was escorted into Tripoli by the British Royal Navy at the end of the conflict. [/restrict]
